WHAT IS A GICLEE?
A Giclee Print offer the highest quality of fine art reproductions available on the market today. No other format comes close to this process of digital printmaking. Giclee produces a higher resolution than Lithographs, resulting in deeper contrast and brilliant vibrancy, and a richer saturation that Serigraphy. Millions of droplets of ink, invisible to the eye, reproduces an exact copy of an original work of art, producing museum quality fine art prints. I employ only the best for my Giclee images. Acid free canvases and a multi-purpose (Endurachrome) ink that unites the brilliance and color gamut of dye ink. This in turn, provides extended UV durability against fading. In addition, a top coat fade resisting liquid laminate. Fade resistency is estimated at 125 years.
All Giclees are stretched. As Limited Editions, they are personally made for you, each hand-signed and numbered by the artist, together with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Canvas images vary in size, though approximate around 36" x 40"
All images are hand embellished with an acrylic gel for a brush stroke effect, then coated with a UV glossy varnish for fade resistency and durability. Each are then hand-signed by the artist.
